The Kit
What Is In The Kit?
Eight pieces, chosen to work together. Your door paint in The Dream Finish, a door primer, a mini-roller and brush, a precision masking set, a doorstep sheet, sugar soap, gloves and the Client Guide. Nothing left to buy.
I Have Never Painted Anything. Can I Really Do This?
Yes. The kit was made for you. The Client Guide walks you through every step in plain words, and there is a library of videos to paint along to. If you can follow a recipe, you can paint this door.
Which Doors Can I Paint?
Wood, metal, uPVC or composite. Painted or bare. The kit is made for all of them.
Is One Kit Enough For My Door?
Yes. One kit paints one front door with two full coats. Double doors and larger doors included.
The Colours
How Many Colours Are There?
Thirty. Every one comes in a single finish, The Dream Finish, so the only decision you make is the fun one.
Will The Colour Look The Same As It Does On My Screen?
Screens vary, so the colour on your door may look a little different from the photo. We show every colour on a real front door, so you can picture it on yours.
The Weekend
How Long Does It Take?
One weekend. Saturday is for washing, masking, priming and the first coat. Sunday is for the second coat and the reveal.
What If It Rains?
Choose a dry, mild weekend, above 10°C. The paint is touch dry in around two hours and ready for its second coat after four to six. If rain is on the way, simply wait for the next dry weekend.
Concierge
What Is Horn & Ivory Concierge?
We paint it for you. You choose the colour and the date. A Horn & Ivory Engineer arrives and applies two coats. You simply come home to it. Concierge is £499.
When Can My Engineer Visit?
Monday to Saturday, morning or afternoon. Morning visits run from 9am to 1pm and afternoon visits from 1pm to 6pm. You choose your date when you book.
Where Does Concierge Cover?
All of London. Every borough.
Can I Rearrange My Visit?
Yes. Give us at least 48 hours' notice and we will move your visit for a £99 rearrangement fee. Please make sure someone is home on the day. A missed visit is cancelled, and Concierge bookings are non-refundable.
Orders And Delivery
How Much Is Delivery?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every kit.
Where Do You Deliver?
Anywhere in mainland UK.
When Will My Kit Arrive?
Within 3 to 5 days. Your paint is mixed to order, then the whole kit comes straight to your door.
Can I Change Or Cancel My Order?
Your paint is mixed to order, so an order cannot be changed once it is placed. An unopened kit can be returned within 14 days of delivery. You cover the return postage. Concierge bookings are non-refundable. Our Terms Of Service set out your rights in full.
What If Something Arrives Damaged?
Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a free replacement.
